Steve was exceptionally skilled, kind and just as importantly, honest and upfront. To give you a bit of background, our old electric garage door was causing us some issues. Knowing nothing about what the norm is, we called another garage door company first. They charged about £100 to come and look and quote us to sort out our issue. To correct it properly, they said that we probably needed a new garage door, as well as the electric motor. Something didn’t feel right and we looked at the Google reviews and found ‘Bardsey Garage Doors’, another local company. I told him where we were at and he said that it is not right to charge, in order to quote for a job. He said that if he would come, he would know within minutes what the issues are. To cut a long story short, we did not need a new garage door (he tested it opening and shutting manually), only needed the motor and Steve’s company was not only much cheaper for replacing the motor, but he also gave us a 5 year guarantee. A tip for anyone needing to solve any garage door issues. Get at least 2 companies to come and quote and never ever pay have it looked at. There’s no need. Steve said that they build their charges into the job. We are exceptionally impressed with Steve and Bardsey Garage Doors. Thank you so much!

We had two single garage doors knocked into one and a Hormann sectional ‘roll-over’ double door fitted. Excellent job with timing exactly as planned. No hesitation in recommending this company for this type of work.

Needed two quotes for my door. Contacted local company in Hull. They said send a photo. Rang Bardsey and they came all the way from Leeds the same day. There price was cheaper as well so we’re awarded the job. A day was arranged for fitting. They arrived and fitted the new replacement door. Very professional and did a great job.
